Perhaps the same thing happened to you as to me. I unzipped Rhide 1.1
with wunzip in win95. Rhide help could find the libc info files but not
the Rhide help files. The reason was simply that the 1.1 archive has
the file rhide.info, so it didn't overwrite version 1.0's rhide.inf file.
So I just had to delete the old rhide.inf and rename rhide.info to
rhide.inf and now it works perfectly. Hope this helps.

: If you have the info files in %DJDIR%/info, not modifed djgpp.env and
: set the variable %DJGPP% to djgpp.env then you don't need to set any
: special path for searching the info files. RHIDE uses the %INFOPATH%
: variable as the searchpath for the files. It does so by examining
: the djgpp.env-file in the [info] section.
: You can test, if you have installed correct the info-files, by
: running info.exe. If info.exe can find the info-files, then
: should RHIDE also find the info-files otherwise there is
: something wrong and you should post here your djgpp.env file
: together with a description where and which info-files you have
: installed.
