`standard'??  Hack the relevant routine in f/runtime/libI77, I guess.

g77 support messages are best directed to the address in the manual.
To report a standard violation, be prepared literally to quote chapter
and verse; comparison with other compilers isn't relevant.  In this
case there is no bug (ANSI X3.9-1978 13.5.9.2.2).
