I've been using RHIDE for around a year now, initially the BETA5 version,
but (since Christmas) version 1.0 with the patches posted by Robert
Hoehne. 1.0 was obviously a huge improvement on the (already-good) BETA5
and I was looking forward to yet more improvements with version 1.2.
However, although it is obviously a further improvement, I can't get it
to work properly! Has anyone else had the problem that when going to the
user screen (Alt-F5) and back to the IDE environment, the screen gets
filled with stripes and general garbage and is completely unusable? Or
(as I fear) am I just doing something rather naive? It seems to be some
kind of screen driver problem but this is where my knowledge of how PCs
work gets rather thin!
It's a pity that I can't yet use 1.2 as I am (by background) a Fortran
man and I was looking forward to being able to do Fortran on my PC via
the (very welcome) port of G77 to DJGPP and its incorporation into RHIDE.
Sorry if I'm asking the obvious.
Thanks
