I posted earlier asking if anyone would like me to release my 3d
Graphics Lib (including source code). Many replied, so I have decided
to release it.
It will probably be on my web page by Sunday afternoon. I still need
to clean up some of the code. I learned 3d graphics from the book
"Black Art of 3d Game Programming." So the basic idea behind the engine
came from that. I have changed and added many things to what the book
taught me, though. There is just a little small problem that should be
easy to solve. Right now, it only supports a file format that I
designed. It looks a lot like PLG, except I added texture capability to
it. It shouldn't be too hard to write importers for some popular file
formats, I just never got around to it.
Look for it this weekend at www.win.bright.net/~randerso/
If you go there now, there won't be anything. But only because I don't
have a web page yet. This weekend, there will be a web page and the
graphics lib.
