I am using RHIDE 1.3 and having difficulty entering the bit wise OR
symbol from the key board. If I type the 'pipe' symbol it appears on the
screen as two vertical lines one above the other as shown on the key but
the compiler gives a 'parse error'. If I type 'Alt' 124 (the ASCII value
for the pipe symbol) I get one continuous vertical line and the compiler
excepts it.
I have tried copying the uk.txt file into the keybind.txt file with the
same results. I have compiled and ran the scancodes program from the
RHIDE help files and the pipe key gives 56DD, scan code:86 whereas the
'Alt' 124 key stokes give 007C, scan code:0.
Is there something else I need to do or am I stuck with using 'Alt' 124.
I am using a UK Win95 Keyboard and runing under win95.
