Shawn, what palette indices does the pointer use? Whatever they are, don't
change them in your custom palette and the pointer will be okay. Or,
design your own pointer, matched for your palette, as a pcx, and load it
and assign it as the mouse pointer. Allegro.txt has info on how to change
the mouse pointer.

This won't be a problem in >8-bit modes in Allegro 3.0.
