win 3.1 == 16 bit. The only way a win32 app caxn run on win 3.1 is with
win32s installed, but even then win32s is known to sh** itself with quite a
few Win32 apps (especially in my previous experience).

Hey, my 486dx2/66 runs Windows '95 "fine". But then again, I only word
process and write HTML on the stupid thing anyway. Hey don't you remember
Microsoft telling us that Win95 would run on a 386DX/100 as long as it had
the HD space to store it? (Gee, that Bill Gates, what a funny guy. A _real_
good sense of humour).
