As part of the Jed package (http://space.mit.edu/~davis/), there is a little
utility called "rgrep" that does just this. I've never tried to port it to
djgpp, but since a full port of Jed exists for djgpp an VC++, I expect John
has already done it. rgrep works very well on Unix.
