Thank you Shawn!

I have been impressed with the Allegro lib since I first saw it.
ridiculously easy to use (even I can use it!), and very reliable!

I have had a program running for 4 days (24 hrs a day) sending *random*
waveform data to a 100,000 pound fatigue testing machine and displaying
the load feedback at 1600x1200 on the screen, on top of a silly bitmap
background of a smiling pot of beans holding a big spoon, and NO
glitches.
