Subject: | stdio writing to a string |
I notice that DJGPP's `sprintf' uses some undocumented flags of the `FILE' struct to get a string accessed like a stream. Can these be documented, or perhaps some higher-level mechanism made available to use this ability? I can think of several cases in which it would be convenient. I believe glibc has some similar functionality but I forget what the interface is like. Nate Eldredge eldredge AT ap DOT net
