If there really aren't any executables in the stuff you downloaded, then you
may not have gotten the binaries (the pre-compiled, ready to run distribution.)
 

If you want the binaries, then you can look for a file with a name like
"makxxxxb.zip", where "xxxx" is the version number.

d, as Mr. Mauch observed, a menu option right there in plain view that
says, "write makefile."  And when I opened a RHIDE project and then selected
that option, RHIDE wrote a makefile.  Nothing annoying there.

But I may misunderstand you, since I don't know what you mean by "BC."
