I thought this might amuse someone... Maybe solve a small problem, too.

Having both the Gravis GrIP and Djgpp can cause some problems. Since both
suites use a file called gcc.exe, and both have to be in the path of
autoexec.bat, running "gcc" from a command line produces some peculiar
effects. In Windows, it opens the "Gravis Control Center" and runs Djgpp's
gcc.exe with all the arguments, due to the multitasking. In DOS, all it says
is that it can't run in DOS mode. I think that's because I have c:\gravis
before c:\djgpp in my path statement, and it can't run two gcc's, so it runs
the Gravis one first. Ends up I have to put Djgpp's gcc.exe in pretty much
every directory I need to use it in (RHIDE, mainly). I was wondering if
anyone had the same problem and had a better solution or a better
workaround.
