	RPC is Remote Procedure Call, a way of calling functions from one
computer so that they execute on another. I think the most popular
implementation is from the Distributed Computing Environment, DCE. Even
Microsoft based Distributed COM, DCOM, on it. It defines a common data
representation. Don't know much more than that, I'm afraid.
