I had this problem yesterday (im new to using djgpp, as well). Anyway, I
freed up some disk space (I had 10meg left, so I tidyed up my hdd and
freed up 200meg). I then deleted the sub-directory allegro (to get rid of
the files just created, so I could start from scratch again), in the
djgpp directory. Unzipped allegro, back into djgpp directory, and then
ran make again. It all worked fine now.

Incidentally, on my first attempt, i got the same errors, on the same
files.

Anyway hope it helps! :)
