Forget about g++.exe, use gpp.exe instead.

I think you have another problem. Is %DJDIR%/bin in your path? Is DJGPP 
enviroment variable defined?

Because 2.8.1 was released after the FAQ ;-)

The file is for Windows 9x users and is the same as gpp.exe.
