I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but it sounds like you're trying to
build the Allegro library. First of all, you don't try to compile them
yourself. There is a makefile, and at the dos prompt you type make (assuming
you have make.exe). You have to be in the directory the makefile's in. If you
don't have this program it is available at Simtel or the mirrors(I'm pretty
sure, if I'm wrong someone respond to this and give the right place). I'm not
sure what the name of it is, but with a little searching you could probably
find it. If you have any other problems building Allegro or are not too sure on
what to do, read the Allegro docs.

If you're not trying to build Allegro, then you're going to need to give more
information on what you're trying to do. I hope I helped.
