Hi, if your code keeps crashing use gdb GNU DeBug. That way you can recover in gdb without all that messing about. Get gdb from djgpp/gnu in simtelnet (where you got the rest of the stuff)unzip and add gdb.info to DIR in the info directory. * GDB: (gdb.inf). The GNU Debugger (gdb and gdb-dpmi). Read up and away you go. regards Ian. PS make sure you got rhide info too * Rhide-Info: (rhide.inf) All about Rhide the IDE in the DIR file in directory djgpp/info
