Firstly, this is one for the Allegro Mailing List. If you havn't subscribed, goto
www.tatula.demon.co.uk/allegro for details on how to do so.

Try running the SETUP utility. It should make a best guess at your card and allow you
to test them. You can also select the driver if you wish. This writes a config file
to that directory.

When you chose *_AUTODETECT it loads data from this file, otherewise it makes a best
guess. Sometimes it is wrong, and if SETUP makes a wrong guess then all your programs
are going to as well. Solution: place a copy of that config file in the same
directory as your program.

Shawn Hargreaves has been very busy recently, so who knows when the next version will
be out...
