Are you sure? I haven't tried accessing it like XMode, but it can also be
accessed by normal bank-switchingl. And I would think that using the VESA
bank-switch would not be a dis-advantage. In PMode, a VESA switch is slower,
but there is only one border instead of 1000's. To blit a bit-map onto any
portion of the screen I'd only have to do 1 switch instead of (at least) 4.
