Thanks in advance to all those who respond: Do you guys use rhide to run your djgpp C++ programs? Because I am teaching myself C++. I am trying to run this very simple C++ program: #include <iostream> using namespace std; int main( ) { cout << "What's up, Doc!\n"; return 0; } and I get the following error message: Creating: testing.exe Error: c:/djgpp/bin/ld.ex: cannot open -lstdcx: No such file or directory (ENOENT) There were some errors I am quite familiar with writing program in C using rhide but I am just starting to learn C++. Is there any good advise you could give me? How can I get myself set up to run C++ using rhide? Oh! There is something else I wanted to tell you. I downloaded the entire djgpp environment for Windows 95 to allow me to use C and C++, including the source codes, and the extra documentation. The file which I believes has the info viewer is txi390b.zip. I unzip all the files in the order suggested by the zip-picker. My info viewer seems to work fine but when I enter "h" which is suppose to run the tutorial for beginners, it gives me the following message: No such file or directory (ENOENT). Is there anything that I am missing here? I desperately need some help. How do I get this thing to work? Carlos
