If you got an error (or warning) you are normally in the
messages window where you can use the arrow keys to browse
up or down. If the message points to any location of any opened
editor window, you will see the highlighted line in that window
if you focus the line in the messages window. If you press then
there ENTER on the message, you will jump to the source in the
editor.
An other way to select any other window is to use the F6 key
(or Shift-F6).

I really can't imagine this. Probably you are doing something
wrong which you didn't wrote here. If this would happen for others
too, I'm sure I would heav heared about it already.
So please describe the EXACT steps you did to create your file
and all the next steps when you mean, that you lost that file.

Previous packages of gcc (gpp280b.zp) had a file called g++.exe
in it, could not be extracted with pkunzip, but this was only a
warning of pkunzip which you can ignore since under raw DOS you
can't have and use such a filename.

Then you have really a problem with your system where I haven't
a clue what it can be.
