I guess my computer is on crack. I put DJGPP in the original C:\DJGPP,
and it still won't work I used pkunzip 2.60 32-bit version to unzip the
files.
Autoexec.bat for this time:
@ECHO OFF
SET PATH=C:\;C:\WINDOWS\;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\;C:\UTIL\;C:\DOS\
SET PATH=C:\DJGPP\BIN\;%PATH%
SET DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV
SET SOUND=C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\CTSND
SET BLASTER=A240 I9 D1 H5 P300 E640 T6
SET MIDI=SYNTH:1 MAP:E MODE:0
SET CTCM=C:\WINDOWS
WIN
Could it be my config:
DEVICE=C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\CTSND\DRV\CTSB16.SYS /UNIT=0 /WIN95
/BLASTER=A:240 I:9 D:1 H:5
DEVICE=C:\progra~1\CREATIVE\CTSND\DRV\CTMMSYS.SYS
FILES=40
On my 486/66 with Win 3.11 i didn't have any problems with this. I was
just a bit slow. Unless something is very corrupt with my windows, or
it doesn't like me. I guess it doesn't like me with. But it doesn't
matter 1998 wasn't good, I guess 1999 is more to come. Will I have this
many problems with Linux (that is if get the running properly) if I
trying running it under DOSEMU.
It's suppose to easy I know it. But for some reason, it won't work.
I'm almost ready to either throw the computer away, or something else.
