I was messing around with some files in my /DJGPP and /DJGPP/BIN
directories and accidentally moved some from one to the other. I
think I got everything back to normal, but I get an error opening up
RHIDE from within my /DJGPP/PROGRAMS directory:
'" " is write-protected.'
And then RHIDE continues along its merry way. The only solution
seemed to be to close out of RHIDE, delete any existing GPR and GDT
files from my /BIN directory, and reopen RHIDE from within /BIN,
re-check all my specific options (like -Wall) and save as RHIDE.GPR
project. Then reopen RHIDE as usual from within /PROGRAMS.
It has happened two or three times since yesterday, so I have no idea
if I possibly deleted a file that RHIDE is looking for. Hopefully the
only solution is *not* to reinstall DJGPP since that will take forever
on my 486-33.
AFAICT, none of the files that I have touched have been set to
Read-only.
