I'm faced with creating interfaces between DOS based appliances (barcode
scanners, rfid buttons, etc) and PCs.  Could any of you folks here
recommend some reading material (online or paperbased)?  I believe I saw
something at Borders a couple of weeks ago called "Serial Communications
in C" or something similar.
