I have a file hello.c which I tried to copy to two different files: cp hello.c 12345678a.c cp hello.c 12345678b.c I only find a single copy 12345678.c How does this work, is this a simple filename truncation to 8..3? Best Mohamed Mbaccar AT aol DOT com
