What are you calling DFT and FFT? DFT is a transformation, and FFT is
an algorithm to implement DFT, so how is it that you seem to have
separate functions for DFT and FFT?

I have used FFT and IFFT myself for an audio spectrum analyzer and
they worked as expected. I checked the results against Matlab. And
AFAIK, I tried both float and double with no noticeable difference.
