Is your home computer running DOS only (or DOS and Windoze 3.1x)? As far as I know, when installing and running DJGPP, you need long filename support. This says to me that DJGPP is for developing DOS apps in a windows 95 environment. Why does DJGPP come with so many long filenames? I have no idea. I think it stinks, but I put up with it because it's free.
