First of all, you have to check if your starter kit was
meant for DJGPP or not. Because if it isn't, you might be
in for some more frustrations.

The error you have is because the program you try to
compile needs a file, but doesn't find it where it thinks
it should be.

Are you sure that you have DJGPP properly installed? All
the environment variables pointing in the right direction,
etc.?

Maybe there is some clue in the book on how to install it.
