While we're on the subject of opengl, I seem to remember someone was
having trouble
compiling mesa for dos. This worked fine for me when I used the allegro
version,
and updated to the wip version of allegro. The patch needed (for mesa)
is available
from
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/7259/3d/index.html
the only thing I have not got working is glut, although I have not tried
much.
