I have just found out that Allegro 3.12 is a available for downloading. However, I have trouble downloading using Netscape Navigator 4.08 (not communicator), but fine under the Internet Explorer 5. The directory ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2tk/allegro/ appears to have some problem with Netscape. This is how netscape will show the contents of the directory (date and size is deleted) Up to higher level directory .message HEADER bin/ dsk1/ dsk2/ dsk3/ dsk4/ etc/ pub/ When clicking on either directory, the same directory contents will show again and again. For example ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2tk/allegro/bin/bin/bin/bin/ is possible. I don't know why this is happening. IE 5 shows the directory without any troubles at all.
