Does that happen from the command line as well, or only from the batch
file?

Does it produce the standard DJGPP crash message, with registers' dump
and traceback?  If so, please post it here.

If the crash message isn't produced, do you see any other messages,
like a pop-up from Dr Watson or something?  If so, please describe
what do you see.

Also, what version of RHIDE do you use?
