Editor is simple.
About Pcb maybe possible to rewrite as hybrid code c and python, but it =
requires more time.

I've often fantasized about writing my own pcb layout tool, and part of =
my fantasy is the use of Python for the higher levels of the =
application. But I know that it would probably take me a full year to =
get something interesting, and several to many years of full time work =
to reach pcb's level of funtionality. Unless you are independently =
wealthy (I'm not), it's basically an impossible task.
Naturally now i fantasized about rewriting code into python ... but i'm =
only studing the situation and i'm seeing if there are any people that =
could be interested to start such kind of project.
