Hi I am just starting with gEDA... I wrote up a gafrc file: (define gedasymbols "/home/user1/TapeDrive/gschem-sym") (component-library "/home/user1/TapeDrive/gschem-sym/") and it worked. Then I decided to get fancy and wrote gafrc file like this: HOME="/home/user1/TapeDrive/" (define gedasymbols "${HOME}/gschem-sym") (component-library "${HOME}/gschem-sym") and it didn't work. Then I did: (define HOME "/home/user1/TapeDrive/") (define gedasymbols "${HOME}/gschem-sym") (component-library "${HOME}/gschem-sym") and it still didn't work. I looked around for an example gafrc file, but nothing with the definition of HOME. Is it bash syntax, or guile syntax? Thanks for your time Bob G
